German Association for Dramatherapy
The German Association for Dramatherapy (DGft) is the professional body and advocacy group for drama therapy and dramatherapists in Germany. It was founded in Hannover, Germany, in 1995 and since then has been promoting an open space for discussion and activism in the field of dramatherapy for therapists as well as artists working in the creative arts therapies.
The DGfT focuses its effort on:

Advocacy on behalf of dramatherapy and dramatherapists

Quality Assurance in both education and application of dramatherapy

Ethical accountability of its members and practitioners

Certification of dramatherapists in accordance with its standards of registration
The affiliated Institut für Theatertherapie (ITT) is the institute for training, professional development and research in dramatherapy of the German Association of Dramatherapy. Together the DGfT and the ITT organize the Internationale Sommerakademie, an annual international conference in Germany.
