The Working Group on Decolonisation & Diversity was founded in 2022 and is primarily a space for exchange on the effects of structural power relations and mechanisms of oppression on the therapeutic space. By examining social structures and the different groups within them, especially marginalized and discriminated groups, we want to create more awareness of the associated diversity of individual experiences.
The working group was newly established in 2023.
We use drama therapy with people with cognitive impairments and multiple other disabilities/developmental delays.
In doing so, we are trying to fill a gap, as there are currently virtually no adequate psychotherapeutic services for adults with disabilities.

“Researching…as if”
We are interested and committed people who love theater therapy. We have set ourselves the goal of making drama therapy better known. Above all, we want to help practicing therapists to publish the results of their work and to continue researching our medium. This is the only way we can achieve recognition in the public discourse.
